Necessary-only launch
QuillSquare launches without visitor analytics, advertising, behavioural tracking or tracking pixels. It does not use Google Analytics or a similar visitor-measurement product. The browser technology described below is used only to provide a feature you request, keep a session secure, remember an unfinished step or return from payment.
Because these technologies are strictly necessary for the service requested, QuillSquare does not show a cosmetic cookie-consent banner. If optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential storage is introduced later, it will not be activated before the required choice is obtained and this notice is updated.
What we mean by cookies and similar storage
A cookie is a small value a website asks a browser to return with later requests. Similar browser storage includes session storage, local storage and IndexedDB. Session storage normally lasts for the browser tab or window session; local storage and IndexedDB can remain after the browser closes until the user signs out, the provider expires it or site data is cleared.
Storage used by QuillSquare
Guest and parent workflow storage can contain draft writing or learner context. Use a private device where possible, finish or clear the journey, and close the browser when using a shared computer.

Stripe-hosted payment pages
QuillSquare sends a purchaser to Stripe Checkout to enter payment information. Stripe may use cookies or similar technology on its own hosted pages for payment, fraud prevention, security and optional features such as Link. Stripe controls those technologies and its own privacy and cookie information applies there. QuillSquare does not receive full card details.
How to control or clear storage
Email help@quillsquare.app if you need help finding the relevant setting. Do not send a password, learner writing, full payment details or a private result link.
- Use QuillSquare’s sign-out action when you finish, especially on a shared device.
- Use the browser’s site-data settings to remove cookies, local storage and IndexedDB for quillsquare.app.
- Close the relevant browser tab/window to end session-storage journeys. Some browsers restore closed sessions, so clear site data if the device is shared.
- Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in, payment return, draft recovery or another requested feature from working.
